Integrated planning of storm water management based on the principles of urban watershed management helps in ensuring quality and life of infrastructure and overall standard of living. It also enhances the capability of a city to reduce the flood disaster risks caused due to high intensity rains. It requires an experienced team of hydrologists, engineers and environment experts. Detailed Project Report (DPR)
The services provided by us under DPR preparation include collection and studying of existing data and functioning of present storm water drainage scheme; collection of historical rainfall data and its analysis to generate Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF) curves for various return periods. We carry out study of existing and proposed land use. We conduct topographical survey of all roads and natural streams and define catchment areas; and work on delineation of watershed basins. We also carry out hydraulic modelling using StormCAD software; design SCADA systems for automation; and prepare estimations to help effective execution.
